MY COMPUTER WON'T TURN ON!

This sucks! I need get my work/studies/game on done and my computer just won't power on/turn on/boot up. I've tried everything like pressing the on switch, checking the cable and even holding down the power button, but nothing is working! Perhaps there's something wrong with the motherboard? I'm totally out of ideas. Does anyone have any suggestio
